Where there is pain, there can be joy. Relief is possible.

Your life can be so much more than this.

Being stuck or feeling lost is not a failure, but a signal. You’re ready for more.

Here’s what you can expect from me:

I’ll work collaboratively with you to help uncover meaning and purpose so you can bring breath back into your life again. I believe in creating a judgement-free space to allow you the freedom to explore yourself more fully and find what’s missing or hidden. From humor to anger to tears, all is welcome. I’ll be honest while also being empathetic. I’ll sit with you in the pain and offer actionable steps that you can take with you.

In sessions with me, we will explore what’s been hidden, buried, and lost. Therapy is about the journey inward to yourself while also acknowledging your impact in a larger world. Typically, we’ll start with a check-in to catch up on what’s happened between sessions. After, we will shift into processing the things that have been weighing on you. We’ll uncover patterns, honor your experiences, and find new paths forward. At the end of session, we will review what you can focus on or process the take-aways from session. I won’t promise therapy will be easy or comfortable. In fact, therapy may be the hardest most uncomfortable thing you ever do. But it can be worth it.

Most of my clients come to therapy because they are feeling miserable and stuck. Others come to therapy because they tired and need a change. Most of the time, they aren’t sure what to do about it while others know what they want to do and need a safe place to process their journey. While uncertainty is normal, my clients are willing to put in the work to get to a better place in their life.

My Philosophy

You may have known this has been a problem your whole life and are just now at a point when you’re ready to tackle it. Perhaps you’ve gotten fed up with feeling this way and are ready for a change. I’ll be here to walk with you. I’ll offer guidance, when needed, and let you take the lead as momentum builds and you discover your own path. I’ll trust you to know what direction you need to go and can help you learn how to trust yourself with the knowing if you aren’t sure you can.

I don’t believe in bypassing our emotions. We need to acknowledge what’s there. Emotions need to be felt; they need to be processed; they need to be metabolized and released. Otherwise, we’ll find ourselves right back to where we started from—at a loss for what to do, questioning what’s missing and why we can’t break the cycle no matter what we try. Together, we’ll take an active approach. We’ll respectfully explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and circumstances with curiosity. We’ll search for meaning and new insights that open new doors. No matter what, we do it together.
