Investment in Therapy

In seeking out therapy, you are making an investment in yourself, your healing, and your future. Therapy asks not only for an investment of finances, but also an investment in your time, energy, and emotions. Using Online Therapy, also known as Telehealth or Virtual Therapy, allows for you to take less time away from other important things in your life. Online Therapy can decrease the investment on your time (no commute to/from an office) while still getting all the benefits of therapy.

You are worthy of this investment!

Insurance Information

Encompassing Wisdom & Wellness, PLLC, is an out-of-network provider with most PPO plans and currently not considered In-Network for any insurance panels. Many insurance companies will reimburse you for a portion of these fees as an Out-Of-Network benefit.

Insurance companies require a diagnosis and have access to session information, which is not always ideal for every client. We can discuss your needs around this during a Consultation Call. If you have Out-Of-Network benefits on your plan, we can provide you with a monthly receipt (called a “Superbill”) with the needed documentation to turn in to your insurance provider.

If you are planning to obtain reimbursement using Out-Of-Network benefits, our clinicians need to know this ahead of time. Some clients find it helpful to verify your benefits by calling your insurance company at the 800 number on the back of your card prior to starting therapy and ask the following questions (You may find it helpful to write down the answers provided, too.):

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits (or behavioral health benefits)?

  • What is my mental health deductible, and has it been met? And on what date will my deductible reset?

  • How many sessions per year are covered?

  • When does the coverage end? and When does the coverage restart/begin?

  • What is the reimbursement amount per therapy session for an out-of-network provider?

  • Is pre-authorization or a referral from my primary care physician required to use these mental health benefits?

  • Can you give me instructions for how to submit the receipts for reimbursement (aka: do I mail them, submit them online, etc...)?
